It seems like everyday we are bombarded with bullshit from all over the country... and the more I think about it, the more it reminds me of high school... sad to think that our society has failed in the menial task of growing up...

The nerds, geeks and kids who generally did well in school are doing well now...

The slackers, sluts, and burnouts are still slackers, sluts and burnouts.. some of them are actually doing well... hey, the graduated right? ...So even the worst of the worst has a chance...

Now typically you would probably expect me to jump all over the cops and be like, "this is bullshit, kick their asses..." yadda yadda yadda... but seriously, watch the video a few times and listen to what the cop and kids are saying. There is a bulletin floating around that is asking for the cops removal and all this other HYPE and BULLSHIT to get people angry (funny that we dont send vids of George W around and get the same response)...

Okay, so I think that I have had some pretty good rants on different things over the past couple months that I havent shared with you, so to recap, here is a one I felt was pretty good...

Good Afternoon everyone! I recently got a message from Amber about doing a logo for her band, which im currently playing with some cool designs, however, it reminded me that I havent been on here in months! So, first off, I apologize for my absence. I have been pretty busy though...

The job has been going well and im continuously learning new things for my web designs and getting some good print pieces as well. I also recently moved into a nice townhome about 15 minutes from my old place and a whopping 3 minutes from work! Gotta love that commute!

My training has also gotten back into gear full force. The long hard road out of hell may be coming back for a few more post, but overall I think I just took it and suffered silently. I suppose all that will be another topic another time!

So I have the menu thingy on hold... and i have begun to start working on new templates for a css project my company will be launching this year... Typical stuff though through the company,

1.start a big project.
2.something else comes up.
3.big project gets put on the back burner.
4.work on something new...

Anyway, ive encountered a new issue with these templates I am designing... and it has to do with centering a UL inside of a div.

The idea is to have each li inline, but when it gets past the div width, to kick down but still be centered.

So far all I have been able to accomplish is to get the li's centered inside the ul divs. But I cant get the ul's to center in the navigation div... I have even tried to put a 'wrapper' outside of the footer div with display:inline or margin:auto... so far havent had any luck...

Hey! Okay, so here is the deal. I just recently started getting into CSS and designing in a whole new way. So far im able to get things looking nice in Firefox, but once the page is opened up in IE7 it gets a little sketchy. I understand that this is a common issue with IE7... bastards...

I have a new CSS style sheet specifically for an IE7 browser and have that script thrown into the index file.

In FireFox my menu looks like this:

However when i open the page in ei7 i see this:

Hey everyone, I just wanted to let you guys know (again, b/c last time i couldn't post) that I have moved on and got a new job and new contact info... ill post some more in a bit as soon as this works! haha!

Do you guys ever just "wake up". Like you are having a regular day, things are getting to you in the normal way and then all of the sudden a quick glimpse or thought comes across your mind and you get that feeling that everything is gonna be okay... but not even okay, better then okay... like all is right with the world and you instantly feel better if only for that moment.

Im not even sure what the thought was, but I had one of those a few minutes ago and it just got me thinking. Where does all that come from... is there a chemical reaction that goes on when you have specific things to eat or drink, is it just a normal occurance and endorphins are released with happy thoughts? Im wondering because I have happy thoughts all the time, at least I perceive them to be happy, and this doesnt happen. Its like a motivating, assuring, everything-is-gonna-be-okay feeling and you feel relieved...

I was dreading writing this because I know what its gonna do to me. But Monday night when I got home, my Jack Russell Terrier, Roxy, got out of the house and was hit by a car. She didnt make it. We rushed her to the vet, but it was already too late.
