Are we unreasonable?!?!
My brother in law has lived with us for several years now, since he got divorsed. The original deal was that he could move in for a whort while while he got back on his feet, but he needed to be doing things to move forward in his life.
Yeah right!
3 or 4 years later, he is DEEPER in dept, will collecters coming after him (mind you he has lived here rent free for all this time); he now owns THREE cars all of which are not running, one which sits in my driveway; and he has a child with a women whome he CAN'T seem to get along with for any length of time.
Way to fucking go!
Now living here rent free, with ME giving him a ride to work every morning at a WIDE VARITY of hours ranging from 3:00 A.M. to 8:00 A.M...and picking him up more often than not....let me tell you how much I love this. He OCCASIONALLY puts gas in the car - IF I ask for it.
We have relativley few (I thought) house rules for him to follow. He does NOT help around the house much...WE pay for any food eaten at the house (granted he eats out alot, and buys breckfast on the way in to work)....HE pays no rent and only shovels the walks when it snows....which he DIDN'T even to that last time.
He used our computer, we ask that he does not go to porn sites, and the kids may inadvertanlty end up there. "HORNEYMATCH.COM is not a porn site, Its a dating site" - NOT bothering to note all of the pictures of naked people fondling themsleves etc etc. "I do it so that no one can follow me to the site" - NOT noting that the whole reason that the issue came up is because Brett opened the history and there it was (yes we reset it to delete in 0 days but it still has a life of about 24 hours or so). So we ask him not to go to the site on our computer because the kids are one link away from seeing it...
IS THAT UNREASONABLE?!?!?!?!
So Brett is on the puter again today - goes to the history (he like to see what I have been up too also :), and apparently he even happened across my brother-in-laws personal profile on the site - where he has photos of his own genatilia dangling out and a profile looking for sex with single or three or more partners.
I don't give a damn about his sex life, single, multiple, female, male, hermaphedite, or otherwise, but my KIDS one click away from getting EXPOSED to their UNCLE on my computer!!!!....
REALLY PISSES ME OFF!!!! When he didn't know he was leaving a trail fine, but when he KNOWS it is just assanine. HIS WELCOME IS OVER!

How I ever let the stay get this far to begin with is beyond me. Please, please, come walk all over us - we really appreciate it!

sorry Amber, I know that this is prolly not a laughing matter to you but the whole description of the events was kinda funny. Have you thought opening diff accounts for everybody using the computer so that they do not share the same history, etc. ?

Ok, lets have a computer illiteracy moment (for future reference). If you set up difftent logins for windows, is that enough to keep IE from registering another users 'history'? That is the only one I know how to do...is that what you were referring too?
I think he was a little embarrassed about the ordeal when Brett discussed it with him. Besides that, my brother-in-law was planning on moving out very soon anyway. We just added the new parameter "by the end of Feb." He is not a bad person, but he does have some growing up to do, and he has spent enough time with us. The girls want their own rooms, (which I would like to give them) and they will all have it when his room becomes available. We're getting there.

ok, I hope Mr.Horneymatch gets his own appt by the end of feb - in the meantime, yeah, different windows accounts have different IE histories, favorites, etc.
