My letter to ebay customer support

Hello,

I just wanted to let you know that I strongly believe that your concept of a seller rating being a simple percentage of happy customers is fundamentally flawed.

The value of the transaction has to somehow be brought into the picture as your current system basically allows certain unscrupulous sellers to maintain a fairly high rating by susccessfully completing a large number of low-value transactions while defrauding many of the people who order high-value (high price) items off them.

I think ebay needs to do something about it as a large number of people are increasigly finding it insecure to shop with you.
