Culturally insensitive ads in Greece, aka Greek Idiocy Case 1

In a country still deep in the throws of rampant ignorance there's quite a lot being said and done that is culturally insensitive; that, in a country portraying itself as sensitive to cultural issues, alas only in words that, anyway, most Greeks do not understand or even care to.

Here's the latest ad from a major electronics stores chain in Greece:

mayas

It basically says that the Mayas predicted the seasonal sales that started beginning of 2010 and depicts a Mayan art stylized figure carrying a bag of electronics.

Obviously inappropriate, disrespectful and abusive to a culture that was brutally destroyed and abused hundreds of years ago by technologically superior invaders. This kind of stuff is minute details though for the modern day barbarians inhabiting the southernmost parts of the Balkan peninsula and calling themselves "Greeks."

I propose execution of the responsible by forceful drowning in Tzatziki.
